Manual Lymph
Drainage? or Massage Therapy?
Massage Therapy by definition is a
manual soft tissue manipulation, and includes holding, causing
movement, and/or applying pressure to the body with the
intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the
client. There are so many benefits to receiving regular
massage therapy.
I offer several types of
Massage Therapy, all designed to give you positive results. Most
treatments will use a combination of techniques like,
myofascial release, trigger point therapy, body
mobilization, PNF,
etc.
Dr. Vodder School trained Manual Lymph
Drainage/Combined Decongestive Therapy is a very
specialized type of therapy. It's most commonly used in managing
Lymphedema, Lipedema and about 30 other lesser medical
pathologies.
If you are not sure, no need to worry,
Patti will review your concerns and suggest the most
appropriate treatment plan for you.
